Our Leadership

GXA Network Solutions’ focus on building stronger businesses starts with George Makaye, whose IT and leadership skills have been forged through more than 20 years of experience in IT and business management.

As the president and founder of the company, George has a strong technology and engineering background. Born and raised in Kenya, George studied Electrical Engineering and graduated with a bachelor in electrical engineering and majored in computer technology and electronics.  He currently holds some of the highest industry technology certifications including CISSP and CCNP. Prior to starting GXA Network Solutions, he served as an enterprise technology consultant for several local technology consulting companies in Dallas Fortworth.

Throughout the years as a consultant he noticed that small and medium businesses were being underserved by IT companies. In 2004, he founded GXA Network Solutions and started a one-man crusade to help businesses harness the power of IT to drive their business outcomes.

Since 2004 GXA Network Solutions has grown remarkably and built long term business relationships with its clients by providing solutions that are innovative and that transform their businesses.

“Just like our clients, we view IT as a strategic tool that our clients use to drive their business outcomes. As a result, we work closely with our clients and help them deploy IT wisely to achieve high business performance”

Outside work, George holds a deep passion for missions. Every year, he leads and coordinates short term international mission outreaches to  countries such as Mexico, South Africa, Swaziland and Kenya, which involve setting up computer learning centers in slum schools, building water wells and water stations in Africa, supporting children homes, organizing free medical camps for the poor, building health clinics, distributing food, clothing and responding to other humanitarian needs.

He is also involved in coordinating local outreach efforts in DFW. Local initiatives include building computer centers and community cleanup initiatives for low income communities in Dallas in an effort to empower individuals and communities locally and around the globe.

“At the end of the day, it’s about helping people, businesses and communities and making the world a better place by implementing real solutions that transform businesses and lives.
